Jared Kushner Just Lawyered Up, Again
As Russia investigation expands, Kushner is forced to hire a high-profile criminal defense lawyer.
In a sign that the Russia investigation is rapidly expanding, Jared Kushner has hired a new high-profile defense attorney to defend him in the Russia investigation.
According to a report by Politico, Kushner has retained Abbe Lowell.
Lowell has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation cases and will be key in Kushner’s defense against the Special Counsel investigation.
According to Politico, “Lowell, a Democrat, has represented prominent politicians such as John Edwards and lobbyist Jack Abramoff.”
In addition, Lowell is currently representing New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez in a corruption case. Lowell was also chief minority counsel to the Democrats during the Bill Clinton impeachment proceedings.
