Fox News Poll Finds Obamacare More Popular Than Ever

Obamacare’s popularity is soaring, according to a new Fox News poll.

A flurry of new polls released Wednesday all had bad news for Donald Trump and Republicans who are trying to repeal Obamacare. The poll all found support for the Republican health bill somewhere between 12 percent and 17 percent.

However, a new poll by Fox News finds that support for Obamacare is climbing. According to the new Fox News poll, 52 percent of Americans have a favorable view of Obamacare, which is up from 50 percent in the same poll in March.

Since March of 2015, Obamacare has increased in favorability from 14 points from 38 percent favorability to 52 percent in the new poll.

Interestingly, the Fox News poll found that at 52 percent approval, Obamacare is more popular than First Lady Melania Trump who has a favorable rating of 51 percent.

The 2o10 Affordable Care Act is also more popular than Vice President Mike Pence who has a 47 percent approval rating according to the poll.

The Fox News poll was not the only survey released Wednesday to have bad news for Donald Trump. According to a Quinnipiac poll, 63 percent of Americans disapprove of Trump’s handling of health care.

The same poll found that 58 percent of Americans disapprove of the Republican plan to repeal Obamacare with just 16 percent supporting it.

Mitch McConnell was forced to delay a vote on the Republican Obamacare repeal bill after several Republican senators announced they would vote no on the bill.

And the new NewsHour/Marist poll finds that by a 24-point margin, Americans believe former President Barack Obama was, by far, a more effective leader in comparison to Trump, 58 percent to 34 percent.
