After Beach-Gate, Chris Christie Gets His Own Sand Sculpture At Jersey Shore
A last-minute budget deal in New Jersey allowed for Garden State beach goers to enjoy state beaches on the 4th of July. But prior to that budget deal, Governor Chris Christie found himself in hot water when pictures emerged of him lounging on the beach while the public was banned from using New Jersey state beaches.
And now it looks like someone decided to give Christie his own special sand sculpture to commemorate the Beach-Gate scandal.
This giant sand sculpture of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie lounging in a chair appeared on the Jersey Shore on Tuesday.
The sculpture was built on a Seaside Heights beach the same day Christie approved a budget, ending the three-day state government shutdown.
