Trump’s Obsession With Ivanka Highlighted at G20 Summit
Ivanka’s position in the administration has been bolstered as she gets a seat at the table… literally.
Ivanka took her father’s seat at a G20 meeting in Hamburg, sitting in while he stepped away for one-on-one discussions with other world leaders.
A photo shows her sitting in her father’s seat between Chinese President Xi Jinping and British Prime Minister Theresa May. Also seated nearby were German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Turkey’s President Recip Tayyip Erdogan.

Later on during the G20 Summit, Trump praised Ivanka on the launch of a new women’s economic empowerment event.
Trump said, “If she weren’t my daughter it would be so much easier for her. That might be the only bad thing she has going, if you want to know the truth.”
