Kellyanne Conway Had A Disastrous Interview On CNN This Morning (Video)

Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway had an epically disastrous interview on CNN Monday morning where a scheduled 15-minute segment turned into a nearly 40-minute interview.

Conway was confronted by CNN’s Chris Cuomo about Donald Trump Jr.’s June 2016 meeting with a Kremlin lawyer where he was told he would receive damaging information about Hillary Clinton.

Conway quickly tried to change the subject, deflecting with a series of odd, unrelated statements. Here are a few of them:

“You’re saying opposition research as often as you vomit words like collusion.”

“If we were in court, your side would not even survive a motion to dismiss because you’ve got nothing.”

“Let’s focus on what did not happen in that meeting.”

Conway then tried to turn the subject over to James Comey and his memos.

“I just have to smile at the suggestion from the same White House that calls unnamed sources not a legitimate basis for journalism, now you’re leaning on it so heavily because it suits you,” Cuomo responded.

Conway then tried to change the subject to the VA accusing CNN of not covering the story.

“We had the VA secretary [on CNN],” Cuomo responded.

“My conscience is clean. My mission is clear. What I do, I cover what I think matters to people. I test power and I take the consequences every damn day. And that’s not going to change.”

Conway then tried to change the subject to infrastructure. “Where is infrastructure?” she asked Cuomo.

“You tell me,” he answered. “Where is it? Where is your infrastructure plan, your tax policy plan? As soon as they come out, we’ll discuss them.”

Cuomo then read Donald Trump’s Twitter feed on the air proving that he is as consumed with the various scandals surrounding the his presidency as the media is. Reading Trump’s recent Twitter feed Cuomo said “slamming [NYC Mayor Bill] de Blasio, ‘Comey leaked,’ quoting [Sean] Hannity, ‘if Chelsea Clinton were asked to hold the seat,’ ‘When I left the conference, here’s why Ivanka sat down,’ all-caps based on unnamed sources—thought you weren’t allowed to do that, but it’s okay—more Fox & Friends, and then goes into James Woods. Where is jobs, health care? one tweet. Where is taxes? Where is his infrastructure?”
