Trump Jr Just Released The Emails Confirming Russian Government Tried To Help Campaign
Well, it looks like we have our smoking gun!
On Tuesday, Donald Trump Jr. released the entire set of emails between himself and music publicist Rob Goldstone. The content of the emails represent the smoking gun in the Trump-Russia case.
The emails contain explicit promises of support from “Russia and its government for Mr. Trump.”
Trump Jr. said he was releasing the emails for the sake of transparency, however, it is reported that The New York Times was getting ready to publish the emails.
In the first email sent from Goldstone to Trump, the music publicist explicitly told Trump Jr. that he was offering information to the Trump campaign that was “part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.”
“The Crown prosecutor of Russia… offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father,” Goldstone wrote.
“This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.”
