Identity Of Eighth Person In Trump Jr Russia Meeting Revealed
We just got the identity of an eighth person who attended the now infamous Trump Jr meeting with a Russian lawyer promising support for the Trump campaign from the Russian government.
The eighth participant in the June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower was Ike Kaveladze, an American-based employee of a Russian real estate company.
The meeting was arranged by Russian developers Emin and Aras Agalarov who are close to the Kremlin. The Agalarov’s also hosted Trump’s Miss Universe pageant in 2013.
Kaveladze attended the meeting with Trump Jr as a representative of the Agalarovs.
According to the Washington Post, an attorney for the Agalarovs “said Tuesday that he received a phone call from a representative of Special Counsel Robert Mueller over the weekend requesting the identity of the Agalarov representative, which he said he provided. The request is the first public indication that Mueller’s team is investigating the meeting.”
