Just 13 Percent Of Americans Support Repealing Obamacare: Poll

Almost no one supports the current Republican plan for health care.

The newest Republican plan was immediately put into doubt when three GOP Senators announced they would not support a full repeal of Obamacare.

And according to a new poll there is good reason for that doubt.

The new Associated Press-NORC poll finds that just 13 percent of Americans support a full repeal of Obamacare.

Even among just Republicans, only 27 percent support an immediate repeal of Obamacare.

Additionally, 59 percent said they preferred leaving Obamacare in place compared to repealing it.

The survey also found that 80 percent of Americans think that Republicans should try to negotiate with Democrats on health care if their current plan fails.

About the poll: The Associated Press-NORC poll was conducted July 13–17 among 1,019 adults. The margin of error is 4.1 percentage points.
