Sean Spicer Has Resigned As Press Secretary
BREAKING
Sean Spicer has resigned from his post in the Trump administration.
The New York Times is reporting that Spicer told Donald Trump that he “vehemently disagreed with the appointment of New York financier Anthony Scaramucci as communications director.”
Spicer reportedly told Trump the appointment of Scaramucci “was a major mistake.”
Spicer’s resignation comes just six months into Trump’s administration.
Over his short tenure as Press Secretary, Spicer found himself in several controversies including a now infamous press conference where he was sent out by Donald Trump on the first day of the administration to lie about the size of Trump’s inauguration crowd.
Spicer became a regular feature on Saturday Night Live last season with Melissa Mccarthy playing the role.

Sean Spicer’s decision to resign also raises questions about whether Reince Priebus will stay on at the White House.
