Trump’s Approval Rating Just Hit New Low In His Favorite Poll
Trump’s favorite poll has some bad news for him.
Donald Trump loves the Rassmussen poll. He’s tweeted about it several times. Of course, the reason Trump loves the conservative poll is because Rassmussen has historically found Trump’s approval rating to higher than every other public poll.
So Trump will not be very happy to hear that his beloved Rassmussen found in a new poll that his approval rating has hit a new low.
According to Rassmussen, Trump’s approval rating has fallen to 39 percent. This is the first time Trump’s approval rating has fallen below 40 percent in a Rassmussen poll
The poll also found that Trump has a disapproval rating of 61 percent.
The results come after a particularly disastrous week for Trump where his signature legislative objective – repealing Obamacare – failed dramatically in the Senate. Trump also fired his chief of staff Reince Priebus after a bizarre week of public attacks on him from his new communications director.
About the poll: The Rasmussen poll surveyed 1,500 likely voters on the phone over three nights in its rolling tracking poll. It has a margin of error of 2.5 percentage points.
