White House Forced To Admit Trump Lied About Boy Scouts Call

Dear Trump administration, not telling the truth means you’re telling a lie.

The latest development in the Trump-Boy Scouts saga came Wednesday when the White House was forced to admit that Donald Trump’s claim that he received a call from the head of the Boy Scouts praising him on his bizarre speech last week.

Trump claimed that the leader of the Boy Scouts of America called him to say he gave “the greatest speech.”

Oh yeah, Trump also lied about a call from the Mexican president.

But on Wednesday the White House was forced to admit that Trump’s statement was false.

Sarah Sanders was asked “Why did the president say that he received a phone call from the leader of the Boy Scouts and the president of Mexico when he did not? Did he lie?”

Sanders said that Trump simply misspoke.

“So he lied,” the reporter shot back.

“It wasn’t a lie. That’s a pretty bold accusation,” Sanders responded. “The conversations took place. They just simply didn’t take place over a phone call. He had them in person.”

The admission of false statements from the White House comes as the media has increased its scrutiny about the Trump administration’s credibility.
