Chuck Todd Had A Harsh Response To The Trump Administration’s New Leak Crackdown
The Meet the Press host isn’t having it.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions announces a new Department of Justice crackdown into leaks coming out of the administration Friday.
NBC’s Chuck Todd had a message for the Trump administration. If he gets a subpoena, Todd intends to ignore them.
In a series of tweets, Todd said: “If DoJ media source threat is real (I assume it’s not; just a show presser to please WH) then I look forward to ignoring that subpoena.”
Todd followed that up with “I’ll say it again: the best way to prevent leaks for ANY org? Be a leader that inspires loyalty and cut out the staff infighting.” And then a third tweet saying, “The worst way to stop leaks: threats.”
