Trump Claims He’s Doing Military A Favor By Banning Transgender Troops (Video)
No, Mr. President, trans soldiers are doing us a favor by serving.
During a rare press availability Thursday afternoon, Donald Trump, who vigorously avoided serving in the military, claimed he was doing the military a favor by banning transgender troops from serving in the miliary.
Trump said the military was working on the transgender ban now saying “it’s been a really difficult situation and I think I’m doing a lot of people a favor by coming out and just saying it. As you know it’s been a really complicated situation for the military. It’s been a very confusing issue for the military and I think I’m doing the military a great favor.”
Just a reminder that Donald Trump received five deferments to avoid serving in Vietnam. He said had bone spurs in his foot which prevented him from serving.
