Poll: Americans Call For Trump’s Impeachment If Mueller Fired
A PPP and VoteVets poll found that Americans would not be happy if Trump fired Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating the Russia scandal.
56 percents of respondents say that Trump should be impeached in he fires Mueller. Even 27 percent of Republicans agree.
The poll also included questions about military action in North Korea.
75 percent of voters, and 68 percent of Republicans, want to exhaust all diplomatic means to avoid a war with North Korea.
86 percent of voters, with 80 percent of Republicans, say that direct talks with North Korea should be tried before taking any military action.
The results from the PPP/VoteVets survey show that even Republicans are starting to feel uncomfortable with Trump’s outrageous actions.
PPP surveyed 948 voters from August 9-10, 2017, on behalf of VoteVets. The margin of error for the survey is +/-3.2% 80% of participants, selected through a list based sample, responded via the phone, while 20% of respondents who did not have landlines conducted the survey over the internet through an opt-in internet panel.
