Russia Investigators Want To Question Donald Trump’s Longtime Secretary
Investigators are closing in.
Congressional investigators probing the Russia case now want to questions Donald Trump’s longtime personal secretary as part of their investigation into collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
According to ABC News, congressional investigators became interested in Trump’s secretary Rhona Graff after the release of Donald Trump Jr.’s emails revealing collusion with Russia.
In the email, a Trump associate Rod Goldstone offered support from the Russian government in the campaign and suggested forwarding the message to Trump’s secretary.
“I can also send this info to your father via Rhona,” Goldstone wrote Donald Jr. in the email, “but it is ultra sensitive so wanted to send to you first.”
“Rhona Graff, a senior vice president at the Trump Organization who has worked at Trump Tower for nearly 30 years, has acted as a gatekeeper to Trump. She remains a point of contact for the sprawling universe of Trump associates, politicians, reporters and others seeking Trump’s time and attention, even now that he’s in the White House,” ABC News reported.
Graff even said as much during an interview in 2004. According to ABC, “The president, who has said he does not use email, communicated with associates for years through Graff. ‘Everybody knows in order to get through to him they have to go through me, so they are always on their best behavior,’ Graff told Real Estate Weekly in 2004.”
Graff receives emails on behalf of Trump and prints them out for him to review, then Trump writes his response on the paper with Sharpie.
