Steve Bannon Calls Jeffrey Lord to Encourage Him to Keep Fighting
Yesterday, CNN ended its relationship with pro-Trump political commentator Jeffery Lord after Lord tweeted “Sieg Heil!” at a liberal activist on Twitter Thursday.
According to Penn Live, Steve Bannon called Lord to let him know he should keep fighting.
Penn Live reported that Lord took the call in his mother’s Camp Hill living room.
“It’s Stephen K. Bannon,” Lord said. “I have to take this.”
Lord wouldn’t comment on what Bannon said to him, but Lord said he needed some time to consider his options before strategizing.
The Penn Live reported asked Lord is he has no regrets about what he considers a sarcastic remark making fun of fascists.
“You’re not supposed to make fun of Nazis? I don’t think so,” Lord said. “I do not ever intend to be quiet. If I had to do it all over again, I would.”
