Rachel Maddow Named Most Influential By Advocate
Several familiar MSNBC faces make Advocate’s 50 Most Influential LGBTs in Media.
Rachel Maddow was named the most influential person in Advocate Magazine’s 50 Most Influential LGBTs in Media.
In their top 50 list Advocate said, “Rachel Maddow defines MSNBC. And in July her show became the most watched in all of cable news because even when the Donald Trump drama piles and buries the rest of cable news, progressive Americans rely on Maddow for some perspective.
CNN’s Anderson Cooper was runner up. As Advocate noted, Cooper “was the first out gay man to ever host a presidential debate because Americans trust him.”
A few other MSNBC faces also made the list.
Steve Kornacki came in at number 32.
NBC’s Justice Correspondent Pete Williams was named number 38.
MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts was 41.
And finally, Last Word producer and Twitter phenom Kyle Griffin was named number 49.
