Donald Trump Just Set A Record, But Not the Good Kind
Trump sets record for most lies.
According to a new report, Donald Trump has lied at least 1,057 timed since becoming president. And if that sounds like a lot to you, you’d be right.
In fact, it is unprecedented.
The Washington Post which counted 1,057 lies, noted that Trump has averaged about five lies per day since his inauguration.
The Post put together this helpful video that highlights Trump hitting all the high notes.
The Washington Post even noted how overwhelming it has been trying to catalog all of Trump’s lies.
“That’s an impressive number by any standard. In fact, we are a little late with this update because we have simply been overwhelmed keeping track of the deluge of claims made by the president in the later part of July. Things slowed down during the president’s ‘working vacation,’ so we have finally been able to catch up.” the Post noted.
And Trump has over 30 lies that he has repeated three times or more.
Trump in on pace to hit 2,000 lies by the end of his first year in office.
