CONFIRMED: Trump Signed Letter Of Intent For Moscow Project During Campaign
We just got another massive Russia bombshell.
Not only did Donald Trump know about his company’s efforts to do a major real estate development in Moscow during the 2016 campaign, but Trump actually signed a “letter of intent” in the deal.
The report of the signed letter of intent comes from ABC News after a series of bombshell news stories that revealed active business dealings between the Trump Organization to develop a Trump Tower in Russia.
As ABC News notes, “The involvement of then-candidate Trump in a proposed Russian development deal contradicts repeated statements Trump made during the campaign, including telling ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos that his business had ‘no relationship to Russia whatsoever.'”
The Washington Post reported Monday that Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen sent an email during the campaign to an aide to Vladimir Putin seeking help on the stalled deal.
Earlier reports revealed that the Moscow Trump Tower deal involved a known Trump associate Felix Sater who has long established ties to the Russian mob. Sater is said to be cooperating with Robert Mueller’s investigation.
