If you didn’t watch Maddow on Monday night, you missed a particularly important episode.
On Monday night Maddow broke down all the recent Trump-Russia news that broke over the weekend.
And, per usual, she also connected the dots back to some important Trump-Russia news from several months ago.
In the A block, Maddow reported on the now many known connections between Donald Trump and Russia that have come to light. And despite Trump camps repeated denials, we now have confirmation that Trump was actively pursuing a massive real estate development deal in Moscow.
Maddow also notes how the Trump development in Moscow was backed by a Russian state-run bank.
In the second segment, Maddow interviewed Carol Leonnig, the staff writer for The Washington Post who broke the Trump-Russia news over the weekend. Leonnig spoke with Maddow about the new revelations that Donald Trump was pursuing a business deal in Moscow while campaigning.
