Fox News Poll Has Some Very Rough Numbers For Trump
Donald Trump can’t even catch a break in a Fox News poll.
A majority of Americans think Donald Trump is tearing the country apart, a new Fox News poll has found.
According to the Fox poll, 56 percent of Americans say Trump is tearing the country apart.
That compares to just 33 percent who think Trump is bringing the country together.
Those numbers largely track with Trump’s overall job approval and disapproval numbers.
The numbers also break along party lines with 93 percent of Democrats agreeing that Trump is tearing the country apart. Trump also gets poor marks from independents, with 53 percent saying Trump agreeing. Just 15 percent of Republicans think Trump is tearing the country apart.
Fox Poll also shows Trump’s approval rating is dropping
Donald Trump’s job approval rating in the poll is at 41 percent – a low for the Fox News poll.
The drop in Trump’s approval tracks with other polls that show Trump’s approval rating has dropped to all-time lows in the last few weeks.
Trump hit a low of 35 percent approval last week in the Gallup poll.
About the poll: Fox News conducted phone interviews with 1,006 registered voters Aug. 27-29 and has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
