Anthony Weiner Sentenced To 21 Months In Prison For Child Sexting

Disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner was sentenced to 21 months in prison Monday for sending lewd texts to a minor.
Earlier this year, Weiner pleaded guilty to one count of the transfer of obscene materials to a minor.
As the AP notes, “The former Democratic congressman from New York had faced up to 27 months in prison on Monday after his guilty plea to one charge of transferring obscene material to a minor. Prosecutors say he broke the law by having illicit contact with a 15-year-old girl using Skype and Snapchat.”
