Blumenthal: ‘I’m about 99 percent sure’ Manafort and Flynn Will Be Indicted
Senate Judiciary Committee member says Flynn and Manafort will face criminal charges.
Two central figures in the Trump-Russia scandal appear likely to be indicted imminently.
Paul Manafort and Mike Flynn will be indicted on criminal charges by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Senator Blumenthal has told Politico.
Blumenthal, who served as a U.S. attorney for 20 years, said: “I’m about 99 percent sure there will be some criminal charges from this investigation.”
And according to Blumenthal, it’s not just Manafort and Flynn who are likely to face legal trouble. “There may well be others,” Blumenthal said.
Reports of an imminent indictment for Manafort surfaced after Special Counsel Mueller’s investigators raided his Washington area home.
