Trump Steps Up Attack On First Amendment, Threatens NBC’s Broadcast License
Donald Trump threatened to take away a news organization license after they reported a story he didn’t like.
President Trump on Wednesday stepped up his attacks on the First Amendment by threatening to take away NBC’s broadcast license.
Trump was responding via Twitter to a story by NBC that Donald Trump told military leaders he wanted to grow the U.S. nuclear arsenal by a factor of 10.
The statement by Trump reportedly shocked top military officials and other senior white house staff.
According to NBC, this was the meeting that led Secretary of State Tillerson to call Trump a “moron.”
