Former GOP Rep.: Republic Better Off If Dems Retake House In 2018 (Video)

During an interview with MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell Monday night, former Republican Congressman David Jolly that he is starting to think the country would be safer “if Democrats take over the House in 2018.”
And it’s not just Jolly who is thinking that, he apparently raised the topic with another Republican who told him he’s been thinking “the same thing.”
The issue, according to Jolly, is that the Republicans in Congress haven’t provided a sufficient check to Trump’s power.
“We might be better off as a republic if they take the House in 2018,” Jolly said again.
