Roy Moore accused of pursuing sex with girls as young as 14.
The Republican Senate candidate who is favored to win the Alabama Senate race next month has been accused of trying to have sex with a 14-year-old girl.
The bombshell report in the Washington Post notes that in 1979 Roy Moore is accused of inappropriate sexual conduct with a 14-year-old girl.
Leigh Corfman, who is now 53, said she met the Republican candidate when he offered to watch her during her mother’s child custody hearing.
Corfman was 14 and Moore was 32 and was an assistant district attorney at the time.
According to the report, Corfman said Moore asked for her phone number, and that the two met on two more occasions.
On the first occasion, the two kissed. And during the second, Corfman said Moore removed his clothes, took off her shirt and pants, and touched her over her bra and underpants.
Four more women come forward
In addition to Corfman, four more women have come forward to say that Moore pursued sex with them when they were underage.
One of the women said she was 14 and working at the mall as a Santa’s helper when she was approached by Moore.
Another woman said when she was 17 when Moore spoke to her high-school civics class and then pursued a relationship with her that never progressed “beyond kissing.”
