Video of unqualified Trump nominee goes viral after he fails to answer basic questions.
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) posted a video to Twitter on Thursday night that is going viral.
The video features Matthew Petersen, Donald Trump’s nominee the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, failing to answer basic legal questions.
In the clip, a Republican Senator, John Kennedy, asks Petersen if he’s ever tried a case in a courtroom. Petersen eventually admits he has never tried a case in any court, taken a deposition, or argued even a motion in state or federal court.
The GOP Senator then asks Petersen some basic legal questions and Petersen fails to answer any of them, admitting he doesn’t know the answer.
