House Will Have To Re-Vote On Tax Bill Tomorrow

The tax bill contained three provisions that violate the Senate rules.

Republicans ran into a procedural pothole Tuesday after passing their tax bill.

It turns out that the bill passed by the House Tuesday has three provisions that violate the Senate rules.

That means that the House will have to vote on the bill again Wednesday before the bill can go to President Trump for signature.

The procedural issue isn’t expected to derail the bill, just delay it. But Democrats will get one more day to marshal opposition to the tax bill and pressure their Republican colleagues.
