Trump’s Approval Hits Record Low In Another Poll

“Trump’s approval ratings continue to be the lowest for any modern president at this point in his presidency.”

Another day, another all-time low for Donald Trump’s approval rating.

According to the new CNN poll released Tuesday, President Trump’s approval rating stands at just 35 percent – an all-time low for the CNN poll.

The CNN results are on the heels of a series of recent polls that are all essentially finding the same thing – Donald Trump’s approval rating is at or near a record low.

And as CNN notes, “Trump’s approval ratings continue to be the lowest for any modern president at this point in his presidency.”

In December of their first year in office, all presidents dating back to Eisenhower have had approval ratings of 49 percent or higher.

Donald Trump’s approval rating is double digits lower than the low of all other presidents.

About the poll: The CNN Poll was conducted by SSRS December 14-17 among a random national sample of 1,001 adults reached on landlines or cellphones by a live interviewer. Results for the full sample have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.8 percentage points, it is larger for subgroups.
