The truth about the Republican tax scam has been clear to anyone doing a fair reading of the bill. In fact, polls have found that about two-thirds of Americans think the Trump tax bill is meant to help the wealthy, not the middle class.
But President Trump keeps claiming the tax bill is a middle-class tax cut.
Well, it seems that in front of his rich friends Trump is telling a different story.
On Friday night at Mar-a-Lago, President Trump told friends at a dinner “you all just got a lot richer,” when talking about the tax bill he signed Thursday, CBS reported.

President Trump kicked off his holiday weekend at Mar-a-Lago Friday night at a dinner where he told friends, “You all just got a lot richer,” referencing the sweeping tax overhaul he signed into law hours earlier. Mr. Trump directed those comments to friends dining nearby at the exclusive club — including to two friends at a table near the president’s who described the remark to CBS News — as he began his final days of his first year in office in what has become known as the “Winter White House.”
You learn a lot about politicians by what they say when they think you’re not listening and for President Trump, it seems he is barely even hiding the fact that his tax bill is a massive giveaway to the rich.
