Democratic Socialist tells Senator Ted Cruz ‘Socialism is going to win.’
Ted Cruz got trolled over the holiday by a Democratic Socialist named Margaret McLaughlin.
McLaughlin, who is the chairwomen of the Metro D.C. chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), spotted Cruz at a movie theater on Monday and asked the Senator for a photo.
McLaughlin wished Cruz a happy New Year and told him to “Say ‘socialism will win.'”
“It’s not going to,” Cruz responded.
