Walmart Lays Off Thousands On Same Day Trump Admin Celebrates Company

Thousands of American workers will lose their jobs.
Walmart announced Thursday that it will lay off thousands of American workers across the country as part of its decision of close dozens of Sam’s Club locations.
The lay offs come on the same day Walmart announced it was raising its starting minimum wage for new employees to $11 an hour.
The company received effusive praise from the Trump administration which highlighted the company as an example of the tax bill at work.
Several locations reportedly closed their doors suddenly on Thursday without giving any notice to employees.
