Ryan Brags About ‘$1.50 A Week’ Raise For School Secretary From Tax Bill
GOP tax bill in a nutshell: School secretaries get pennies a week while rich get millions.
Paul Ryan brags about “$1.50 a week” raise as proof the GOP tax bill is working for the middle class.
This is pretty much all you need to know about the Republican tax bill. Speaker Paul Ryan tweeted on Saturday bragging about a school secretary who is getting a “$1.50 a week” increase in her paycheck as proof of the Republican tax bill’s success.
“A secretary at a public high school in Lancaster, PA, said she was pleasantly surprised her pay went up $1.50 a week … she said [that] will more than cover her Costco membership for the year,” Ryan tweeted.
That’s right. Paul Ryan is bragging about one hundred and fifty pennies and calling it a raise for the middle class.
Meanwhile, the rich are making away like bandits with millions.

Paul Ryan has since deleted the tweet, likely after realizing what a total insult the idea of a $1.50 a week raise is.
