Trump Won’t Approve Release Of Democrat’s Counter Memo
The 10-page refutes the claims Trump and Republicans made in their scam memo.
The Trump administration announced late Friday night that President Trump won’t allow the Democratic counter memo to be released to the public.
The Democratic memo was written to refute the baseless claims that Trump and Republicans have made to discredit the FBI and Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
The so-called Nunes’ memo was released publicly last week after weeks of public hype by Republicans and Russian Twitter bots, despite the strong warnings from the FBI and Justice Department that the GOP memo was misleading and omitted important facts.
Democrats prepared their response memo using evidence from the FISA application that disproves the claims in the Nunes memo.
The news that Trump wouldn’t release the Democrat’s memo was first reported by a Bloomberg reporter.
