Mueller Investigating Trump For Trying To Fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions
The noose is tightening around Trump.
The obstruction of justice probe against President Trump just got a little bigger.
According to a new Washington Post report, Mueller has begun to investigate President Trump for attempting to oust his Attorney General for not protecting him from the Russia probe.
The report notes that Special Counsel Mueller has been investigating a period of time last summer when President Trump tried to oust Jeff Sessions.
According to people familiar with the matter, a key area of interest is whether those efforts were part of a pattern of attempted obstruction by Trump.
