Trump In Talks With Clinton Impeachment Lawyer: Report

We just got our first sign that Donald Trump might be preparing for the end of his presidency.

President Trump seems to be preparing for an impeachment fight.

According to a new report by The New York Times, Trump has had discussions with Emmet Flood, the lawyer who represented President Bill Clinton during the impeachment process, to take on a day-to-day role in his defense team.

In fact, Flood “met with Mr. Trump in the Oval Office this past week to discuss the possibility,” The New York Times report noted.

At the same time, Trump current lead attorney, Ty Cobb, has been telling friends for weeks that he views his position as temporary and expects to depart before the conclusion of Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation.

The report notes that Cobb’s primary role has been document production, a process which is now coming to an end.
