Trump Ally Detained At Airport, Served With Subpoena In Russia Probe
Conservative academic with links to Roger Stone and the Trump campaign was detained by FBI agents at Boston Airport.
Ted Malloch, a regular contributor to the conspiracy website InfoWars, was detained at Boston’s Logan Airport this week by FBI agents.
Malloch, who has ties to the Trump campaign and Trump advisor Roger Stone, was also served with a grand jury subponea in the Russia investigation.
Malloch will have to testify before Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s grand jury on April 13.
FBI investigators asked Malloch about his involvement in the Trump campaign as well as his relationship with Donald Trump adviser Roger Stone who is also a key player in the Russia probe.
Malloch was also asked if he had ever visited the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange lives.
Roger Stone has come under scrutiny by the Special Counsel for having advance knowledge of the WikiLeaks hack of the Democratic National Committee’s emails before they were publically released.
