A Liberal Just Won Wisconsin Supreme Court Race

The race was seen as a key indicator for the midterm elections.

Liberal Rebecca Dallet has defeated conservative Michael Screnock in a Wisconsin Supreme Court race Tuesday.

Dallet will now serve on the Wisconsin Supreme Court for a 10-year term.

Dallet beat her conservative opponent 57 percent to 42 percent.

She is also the first liberal candidate to win an open seat on the Wisconsin high court since 1995.
