Trump Actively Considering Firing Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein
CNN report confirms that President Trump is mulling Rod Rosenstein.
President Trump is considering firing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, a new report by CNN notes.
The revelation that Trump wants to fire the Rosenstein comes just one day after FBI agents raided the office, home and hotel room of Trump’s private attorney Michael Cohen.
Agents were acting on a search warrant that was personally signed off on by Rosenstein because of the sensitivity of raiding the office of the president’s attorney.
According to the CNN report, firing Rosenstein is among several options that Trump is considering, including firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
CNN also reports that not all members of Trump’s legal team are on board with the idea of firing Rosenstein.
