Multiple news outlets have confirmed that Speaker Paul Ryan will retire from Congress at the end of this term.
Ryan will make the announcement later today that he will not seek re-election.
Ryan’s decision to retire is the latest sign that Republicans expect massive electoral losses in the November midterms.
