Giuliani, Admitting Trump Colluded With Russia, Says ‘Collusion Is Not a Crime’
Dear Rudy, the crime is called conspiracy and Mueller has indicted 32 people and 3 Russian companies that participated in that conspiracy…so far.
The former mayor has yet again moved the goal posts in the Russia investigation.
In an unhinged appearance on Fox & Friends Monday, Trump TV lawyer Rudy Giuliani rolled out a new strategy to defend the president claiming “collusion is not a crime.”
“I have been sitting here looking in the federal code trying to find collusion as a crime,” he said. “Collusion is not a crime.”
Of course, Giuliani is being purposefully obtuse. The word “collusion” is used as a shorthand, the actual crime is called conspiracy and Robert Mueller is building a massive conspiracy case against the president and his family and top lieutenants.
As a reminder to Mr. Giuliani and others in the Trump camp, Special Counsel Robert Mueller has indicted 32 people and 3 companies in the Trump-Russia investigation.
