Support for Trump’s border wall is sinking.
A new set of polls released Sunday confirm that Americans firmly blame President Trump and Congressional Republicans for the government shutdown.
According to a Washington Post/ABC News poll, 53 percent of Americans place blame for the shutdown on Trump. At the same time 29 percent blame Democrats while 13 percent blame both sides.
And at the same time a new CNN poll found essentially the same results with 55 percent saying they blame Trump for the shutdown and just 23 percent blaming Democrats.
