This explains the massive amounts of “Executive Time” on his schedule.
We may have just figured out why Donald Trump has up to 60 percent of his schedule marked as “executive time.”
According to a new report in The Washington Post, President Trump paid to have a massive “golf simulator” installed in the White House so he can play virtual rounds of golf.
The report noted that Trump spent $50,000 on the new golf simulator.
During the recent government shutdown, Trump took his longest break from golfing since becoming president so it seems having the golf simulator installed in the White House is Trump’s way of never having to go without golf again.
“I’m not going to have time to go golfing, believe me.”
Trump famously criticized President Obama for his occasionally golfing, saying “I’m going to be working for you, I’m not going to have time to go golfing, believe me. Believe me. Believe me, folks.”
However, in his first two years Trump has far surpassed Obama in golf outings.
