Americans Profoundly Disapprove Of Donald Trump: Poll
Donald Trump’s disapproval numbers continue climbing.
Americans have an exceedingly high sense of disapproval when it comes to Donald Trump and his job as president.
According to a new NBC News/Survey Monkey poll, 61 percent of Americans say they view Trump unfavorably.
And 59 percent say they disapprove of how Trump is handling the job. Trump’s disapproval number has grown since March when the same poll found 56 percent of Americans disapproved of the job Trump was doing.
Americans disagree with Trump on Arpaio and DACA
The NBC News poll also found that Americans largely disagree with Trump’s decision to pardon Joe Arpaio. According to the survey, 60 percent say they disagree with the pardon.
Donald Trump is also expected to end the DACA program put in place by President Obama. However, according to the NBC poll, 64 percent of Americans support DACA.
Additionally, 71 percent say that undocumented immigrants who are working in the United States should be given a chance to apply for legal status.
About the poll: The NBC-SurveyMonkey poll was conducted online from August 24 through August 29. It polled 10,129 adults, with a margin of error of 1.4 percentage points.
