Protestors Fill The Capitol To Fight GOP Repeal Bill (Photos)
A protestor in a wheelchair was dragged out by police while chanting, “No cuts to Medicaid, save our liberty.”
Protesters filled the halls of a Senate office building Monday in an attempt to get into a hearing room where the GOP health bill was being considered.
The line of protestors snaked down the hall.
Many protestors arrived at 5 a.m. in an attempt to get a spot in the 2 p.m. hearing.
At least on protestor was dragged out of the hearing room by Capitol police.
Monday’s Senate Finance Committee hearing will be the only Senate hearing in Republican’s last-ditch attempt to repeal Obamacare.
The Senate is expected to vote Thursday.
