Jared Kushner Is Under Investigation For Use Of Private Email
Just like that, Kushner is being investigated.
House Oversight Committee’s Elijah Cummings announced on Monday that he was investigating senior White House adviser Jared Kushner over his use of a private email account to conduct official White House business.
Cummings, who is the top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, wrote a letter to Kushner asking him that he preserve all “official record and copies of records in your custody.”
According to a statement from his office, Cummings also asked that Kushner hand over all email addresses for any private accounts that he used while conducting White House business as well as a list of emails that he sent or received on those private accounts that related to official government matters.
In addition, Cummings demanded that Kushner provide him with information about the security of the private accounts that he and his wife Ivanka Trump had been using.
