Hillary Clinton Blasts NRA In Wake Of Las Vegas Shooting
HRC ain’t holding back.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton didn’t hold back a statement following the mass shooting in Las Vegas Sunday night.
Clinton blasted the National Rifle Association (NRA) saying that the country “must put politics aside” and “stand up to the NRA.”
Clinton was pointing to the NRA’s stance on gun silencers.
“Las Vegas, we are grieving with you — the victims, those who lost loved ones, the responders, & all affected by this cold-blooded massacre,” Clinton tweeted.
“The crowd fled at the sound of gunshots,” Clinton tweeted. “Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get.
“Our grief isn’t enough,” she continued. “We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again.”

The NRA is promoting a bill that would make silencers more widely available.
At least 58 people were killed and more than 500 injured Sunday night in the deadliest mass shooting in American history.
