First petition on Trump White House site demands Trump release tax returns
While the Trump administration went through great efforts to remove stuff like civil rights, climate change and healthcare from the updated Trump White House site, it seems they forgot to remove Barack Obama’s citizen-generated petition page, We the People.
And the first and only petition now on the site is a petition demanding that the new commander-in-chief release his tax returns.
The petition reads, “The unprecedented economic conflicts of this administration need to be visible to the American people, including any pertinent documentation which can reveal the foreign influences and financial interests which may put Donald Trump in conflict with the emoluments clause of the Constitution.”
The petition already has over 44,000 signatures on it.
