Flynn Statement Confirms He’s Cooperating With Special Counsel Mueller
It’s official, Michael Flynn has flipped on Trump.
President Trump’s former national security advisor Michael Flynn on Friday morning confirmed that he is now cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
Flynn’s statement confirms weeks of reporting and speculation that Flynn has flipped.
In his first public statement after pleading guilty to lying to the FBI, Flynn said, “I recognized that the actions I acknowledged in court today were wrong, and, through my faith in God, I am working to set things right.”
“My guilty plea and agreement to cooperate with the Special Counsel’s Office reflect a decision I made in the best interests of my family,” Flynn continued.
“I accept full responsibility for my actions,” concluded.
