Trump Approval Rating Is Crashing Among Fox News Viewers: Poll
Even Fox News viewers seem to be losing faith in Donald Trump.
It’s no secret that Donald Trump’s approval rating is low. In fact, poll after poll keeps confirming he’s the least popular president in modern history.
Just this week a new Monmouth poll found Trump’s approval rating sits at just 32 percent – a record low in that poll.
But the one place where Donald Trump could always count on for some positive numbers is Fox News viewers… at least it used to be.
A new poll by Suffolk University found that Donald Trump’s approval rating is tanking with viewers of the conservative cable channel.
But it’s not just that Trump’s approval rating has slipped a little among Fox News viewers. His numbers are crashing.
Since June, Trump’s approval rating among Fox News viewers has fallen 32 points!
In a June poll, 90 percent of people who said they trust Fox over other news networks viewed Trump favorably.
In October that number had fallen to 74 percent.
And in the December Suffolk University poll, Trump’s approval rating among Fox News viewers is now down to 58 percent.
Trump’s approval rating is also down significantly among those who strongly support him. In 55 percent of Fox News viewers said they strongly support Trump, in October that number was down to 32 percent.
Trump’s unfavorable number among Fox News viewers also grew by one-third in that time.
About the poll: This survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted between December 5 and December 9, 2017, and is based on live telephone interviews of adults 18 years of age or older, residing in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, who identified as registered voters. The margin of sampling error for results based on the total sample is +/-3 percentage points.
